Jess Bruggink is an artist and surface designer in Excelsior, Minnesota. She spends her days searching for the (nonexistent) balance of mothering two little ones and maintaining a creative career. Meanwhile, she is embracing the messiness of it all. She finds endless inspiration from flowers and dreamy color palettes.
"My natural tendency is to hold on tightly to the things in life that are most important to me. This has allowed me to love my family well and work hard toward goals in life. However, it has also proven to cause tunnel vision. I can become anxious when my life doesn't follow my projected path. Last year, we welcomed a second daughter into our family. As I navigate this new role as a mother of two, I'm learning to hold things much more loosely. To plant seeds in loose soil and let them grow as they will. These girls have to taught me that goodness can come from change and to find beauty in the unexpected . I'm embracing this season of raising two wildflowers. I’m finding wonder in the chaos." -Jess Bruggink
