A charming vintage 1960 tipped in art print of Country (1959) by Jean-Paul Riopelle. Image hand tipped-in on a sheet of heavy paper and affixed to chipboard backing for maximum ease of styling and propping.

Jean-Paul Riopelle (1923-2002), CC GOQ RCA was a painter and sculptor from Quebec, Canada. He had one of the longest and most important international careers of the sixteen signatories of the Refus Global, the 1948 manifesto that announced the Quebecois artistic community's refusal of clericalism and provincialism.
