Soapstone Cylinder Planter

These pieces are a fair trade product hand carved out of soapstone in Kenya. They are satisfyingly weighty and silky smooth. They can function beautifully as either a small planter or wide mouth vase. Since they show the natural colors of the stone, some color variations should be expected. One can often see shades of cream, gray, pink, and brown in the vases.
