Japanese Ceramic Mortar in Cream

This beautiful white ceramic mortar is so useful on its own. Easily stacks with other mortars and graters from Fort & Field, so they can be left on the kitchen counter stacked to grab when cooking!

Measures approx. 3" diameter x 4" long (to end of handle) x 1.5" high. Comes with a round silicone mat to put under the mortar to keep it from shifting during use.

Pair with a hinoki cypress wood pestle.

Made from porcelain. Hand wash.

*The appropriate length of a pestle is approx. twice the diameter of the mortar you are pairing it with, however, can vary depending on what you are crushing.
