Baggu recycled leather takes landfill-bound, genuine leather scraps and transforms them into the material they use for their bags. In total, the material is composed of 70% recycled leather—a higher percentage than most on the market—and features elevated design details. The lining is made of 100% recycled polyester that comes from everyday consumer and commercial sources, transforming what would otherwise be discarded into a functional backing material. Each bag is finished with a water-based polyurethane coating. This process ensures a durable surface with a smooth, pebbled texture while avoiding harmful solvents like DMF.
