Somewhere between drawing paper and bristol, this Extra-Heavy Drawing Pad is a luxurious surface for all kinds of illustration: detailed pencil drawings, pen-and-ink compositions, colored pencil sketches, and many more.

In making those drawing pad, two tough drawing media were used to see what Extra-Heavy Drawing can do: first, a pointed-pen drawing with lots of fine lines; then, a pencil and sumi-ink brush illustration. As you can see, this very pink, very professional pad passed with flying colors.

This notebook is bound with an extra-heavy-duty metal coil and a stiff chipboard backing, so feel free to take it everywhere.
