Hawkins New York Essential Swedish Dishcloth Set

A set of 6 wise wipes in classic plaid and striped patterns and available in our favorite elevated Hawkins hues. These reusable dish cloths were designed to replace paper towels and reduce waste. Invented in Sweden in 1949, this eco-friendly cloth is made from cellulose and cotton, and fully compostable—closing the loop from forest to soil.  Super absorbent and quick-drying — perfect for tackling kitchen messes, wiping counters, or drying dishes — stylish enough to keep on display, functional enough to become your kitchen’s favorite helper. 

Wash by hand, in the dishwasher or washing machine, then air dry.

Dishcloths can be composted at the end of their lifespan, which is typically 6-9 months.
