Vintage 1949 Bazille "The Artist's Studio" Swiss Offset Lithograph

A lovely vintage 1949 tipped in art print The Artist's Studio (1870) by Bazille. Image hand tipped-in on a sheet of heavy paper and affixed to chipboard backing for maximum ease of styling and propping.

Jean Frédéric Bazille (1841-1870) was a French Impressionist painter. Many of Bazille's major works are examples of figure painting in which he placed the subject figure within a landscape painted en plein air.
