Vintage 1949 Seurat "Study for La Baignade" Swiss Offset Lithograph

A lovely vintage 1949 tipped in art print of Study for La Baignade (1883) by Seurat. Image hand tipped-in on a sheet of heavy paper and affixed to chipboard backing for maximum ease of styling and propping.

Georges Pierre Seurat (1859-1891) was a French post-Impressionist artist. He devised the painting techniques known as chromoluminarism and pointillism and used conté crayon for drawings on paper with a rough surface.
