Miniature french art plates of Utrillo's Montmartre scenes at 3.75" x 5.5" are affixed to stiff chipboard backing for maximum ease in styling whether framing or propping on a shelf. These special little art plates were printed the year after his death.
Maurice Utrillo (1883-1955), born Maurice Valadon, was a French painter of School of Paris who specialized in cityscapes. Born in the Montmartre quarter of Paris, France, Utrillo is one of the few famous painters of Montmartre who were born there.
