Vintage Crystal Cordial Trio

One of my oldest friends invites us all to choose a glass out of her china cabinet when we attend her soirées. I have adopted this tradition and love to use it as a sort of personality test in which all outcomes are fabulous and correct.

I collect vintage glassware obsessively -- all shapes and sizes. But these sweet little cordials are the most petite for sipping liqueurs, amaros, dessert wines, and after dinner drinks. Cordial glasses are similar in size to shot glasses, but used at the opposite speed and effect. These are for savoring the drink and the moment.

This is a lovely set of three in case a few friends want to match.
