Michele Salmon is a post-war contemporary artist. She is a French painter born in Lorraine in 1946 and is renowned for her contributions to contemporary art. A student of Georges Rohner and Jacques Despierre at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs, she she made her debut at the Salon d'Automne in 1969. She is known for her surrealist artistic style, mainly depicting mysterious beings emerging through shadows and light, often portrayed without hair and expression.
Salmon has held exhibitions globally, from Tokyo to Cannes, leaving a lasting impact on the art world.
